Overall Purpose This position provides day to day management of and strategic leadership for driving the governance and management of core programs and processes required to monitor and enforce third party financial institutions’ compliance to the operating rules and product standards that govern participation in Early Warning products and services.

Requirements

  • Education and/or equivalent work experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelors degree;
  • 10 or more years experience in payments industry, preferably including governance, compliance or process management functions;
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization, as well as senior executives and customers;
  • Demonstrated leadership strength and the ability to build and lead a team;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, collaborate on solving problems, establish new processes and track results;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build partnerships and alliances internally and with external partners at all levels of the organization;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make recommendations;
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment;

Responsibilities

  • Manage programs, monitoring and oversight of processes required to evaluate and enforce a participant’s compliance with the Company’s operating rules and other product requirements;
  • Manage day to day support of the exception/waiver process for Company operating rules, including process management, automation, reporting, and obtaining internal approvals;
  • Responsible for driving and managing compliance processes and supporting our vendor relationship;
  • Support leadership on department planning & budget processes.
  • Develop and manage compliance reporting which includes reporting to evaluate the health of the Network and identify compliance gaps for product areas:

  • Monitor industry and regulatory trends that impact our business and support development of appropriate operating rules, as well as compliance processes to support business strategy and protect the Company;
  • Provide consulting and guidance to internal and external partners on the interpretation and application of Company rules and product requirements;
  • Collaborate across teams on addressing customer issues.
  • Support the review and handling of compliance cases involving operating rules and product requirements;
  • Conduct compliance reviews, which includes attestations and in-depth assessments of participants and resellers compliance with operating rules;
  • Provide effective leadership and develop and manage a small high performing team;
  • Support the company’s commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
