The Sr. Manager, Molding & Tooling Engineering leads strategic and technical initiatives related to injection molding processes, mold/tooling design, and manufacturing optimization. This role ensures tooling solutions are innovative, cost-effective, scalable, and meet performance and quality standards. The Sr. Manager, Engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement across global operations. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
7 Years of Relevant Experience
5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning - Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
Oversee Mold Design & Fabrication - Manage internal and external resources for mold design, build, and validation.
Drive Process Optimization - Improve molding processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) - Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure tooling readiness for new products.
Manage Tooling Lifecycle - Oversee maintenance, refurbishment, and replacement planning for molds and tooling assets.
Vendor & Supplier Management - Evaluate and manage tooling suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Ensure Compliance & Safety - Maintain adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.
Budget & Cost Control - Develop and manage budgets for overhead and capital expenditures.
Team Leadership & Development - Lead and mentor junior management, a team of engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support - Provide expert guidance on molding and tooling issues impacting production. Possesses sound understanding of Scientific Molding Principles.
