SUMMARY The Senior Manager, IT US Operation oversees all technical and support operations for all US sites (currently 3), ensuring IT services meet organizational needs. They handle day-to-day IT operations, including managing hardware/software, network, and user support, serving as liaison between local staff, site management, and Corporate IT teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science from four-year University or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT Management, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent IT technical skills (Server and Network management)
  • Knowledge of IT ticketing tool processes (ITIL), General Project-Management methodology and practices
  • Knowledge of manufacturing system principals such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and basic ERP functionalities.
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, to listen and gets clarification, to respond well to questions, to demonstrate group presentation skills and to participate in meetings.
  • Ability to work with mathematic & analytical concepts, including but not limited to facilitation and negotiation skills, Data Process Modeling, knowledge of competition, industry happenings and knowledge of how the Company is positioning itself is a plus.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Managing on-site IT support personnel, troubleshooting hardware/software, and handling workstation procurement (laptops, phones)
  • Identify problems, analyze and revise written documentation including but not limited to procedures, work instructions, reports, flow charts and tools that are approved by US Operations business units and IT department.
  • Work with stakeholders other LISI team members to prioritize work to meet and complete deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate across Operations business units and/or team members, establish and support networks of people in a matrix organization, and use relationships strategically to accomplish objectives.
  • Oversees server rooms, networking (routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi), and data center facilities.
  • Contribute to technical analysis to determine technical feasibility and improvements.
  • Harmonize technologies inside US Operations to bring standardization and efficiency
  • Ensuring data backups, cybersecurity measures, and compliance with IT policies
  • Support end users by writing and maintaining documentation and providing technical support.
  • Responsible for internal audits.
  • On an IT standpoint, Responsible for reviewing all applicable standards and regulations for the facility and communicating to local site management any and all changes to legal requirements.
  • Coordinating with external service providers and internet service providers.
  • Responsible of IT purchasing
