Overview: The CoverMyMeds CIO Infrastructure & Operations team seeks a full-time leader to manage a modern infrastructure support team. This role oversees highly available and high-performing infrastructure solutions, leading a team of motivated professionals. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive practical knowledge to develop solutions that ensure quality, applicability, and business impact

Requirements

Degree or equivalent
experience. Typically requires
9+ years of professional
experience and 1+ years of
supervisory and/or management
experience.
6+ years' professional experience and 3+ years of people leadership experience
6+ years experience managing and administering systems infrastructure
6+ years' experience in multiple scripting technologies with a focus on automation in PowerShell/Terraform/Ansible/Jenkins
6+ years' experience with IT security concepts and best practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation

Nice To Haves

Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms
Familiarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and patch remediation
Knowledge of change management and CMDB methodologies
Experience in automation, reporting, and domain name management

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Linux and Windows professionals in a real time transaction processing environment
Manage and support physical and virtual server environments, including Identity & Access Management, across on-premises, co-location, and cloud data centers
Develop and implement support plans and roadmaps for diverse environments
Automate redundant functions to improve quality and efficiency
Drive scalable risk reduction practices collaborating with technical contributors and leadership
Document standards, architecture, implementation procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Communicate effectively with peers, upper management, and customers
Train, mentor, and validate the work of team members
Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Perform duties remotely or on-site as needed
