About The Team And The Role As a Senior Manager I, you will lead a team of Junior and Senior Investigators within the General Investigations Unit of the FIU, while maintaining a reduced investigative portfolio. You will drive operational excellence, staff development, and process improvement, ensuring eBay’s compliance with AML/CTF regulations and its commitment to platform integrity.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of AML/FIU experience, including 3+ years in management.
  • Expert understanding of AML/CTF regulations and risk typologies.
  • Proven record of leadership in regulatory and audit environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret data trends and translate insights into operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple investigators and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Lead strategic initiatives aimed at improving case management, analytics, and reporting efficiency.
  • Handle escalated and sensitive investigations, including those with regulatory exposure.
  • Develop and coach team leaders; ensure strong talent pipelines and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams on enterprise-level AML initiatives.
  • Maintain limited investigative work (40% casework / 60% leadership).
