As the Sr. Manager, HR Business Partners, you will play a key role overseeing a team of HRBPs ensuring that the HRBP function delivers consistent, data-driven, and proactive support to all business units while fostering a culture of high performance.

Requirements

  • Professional Tenure: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years specifically in an HR Business Partner or leadership capacity.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience, specifically leading other HR professionals.
  • Strategic Impact: Proven track record of designing and implementing HR programs that resulted in measurable business improvements.
  • Systems: Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms, Talent Management Systems, GSuite, and Notion preferred.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and other applicable employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Direct, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners, ensuring they have the tools and training to act as proactive, strategic consultants to their assigned departments.
  • Escalation Path: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex or high-risk employee relations issues, internal investigations, and legal compliance matters.
  • Skill Modernization: Serve as the lead change agent for the HRBP team, guiding them through the shift from "strategic partners" to "tech-enabled strategic consultants." Develop and execute a roadmap to upskill the HRBP team in data literacy, AI usage, and people analytics.
  • Process Innovation: Audit existing HRBP workflows to eliminate manual redundancies and replace them with scalable, technology-backed solutions.
  • Direct HRBP Oversight: Act as the dedicated HRBP for a select team, maintaining a "hands-on" portfolio to ensure personal alignment with the daily realities of the business and to pressure-test the downstream impact of new HR initiatives.
  • Performance & Compensation: Lead the execution of annual performance reviews, promotion cycles, and merit increase processes for the company, looking for ways to continuously improve and iterate on cycles each year.
  • Change Management: Partner with people leadership to lead on change management including organizational shifts, including mergers, acquisitions, or departmental restructuring.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure all HRBP activities comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and internal company policies. Oversee annual Handbook updates and regular process and agreement updates to ensure continued legal compliance.

  • Compensation
  • The salary range for this position is: $118,000 - $158,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
