About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications will join The Knot Worldwide’s Global Communications team to lead internal communications strategy and storytelling across the organization. Reporting to the VP, Global Communications and Impact, this role will play a key part in shaping how we inform, engage, and connect our employees through clear, timely, and inspiring communication. This person will be both strategic and creative, using data, insights, and employee feedback to craft narratives that strengthen culture, reinforce priorities, and drive alignment. The role partners closely with People, Executive Leadership, DEI, Change Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure communications are thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience within the PR and communications industry, with at least two years spent in an internal communications role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Ability to develop and execute communications strategies that align with business objectives and provide demonstrable ROI.
  • Stellar written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences (from executives to front-line staff). Examples will be required.
  • Experience managing internal platforms such as an Intranet, email systems, and other communications tools.
  • Ability to work across functions to gather information and make strategic recommendations.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to track metrics, analyze performance, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive internal communications strategy for The Knot Worldwide (TKWW) that informs, engages, and inspires our global employee base.
  • Serve as an important partner across TKWW, supporting key stakeholders, including Human Resources (HR), IT, Legal, and Marketing, with internal communications needs, ensuring seamless and consistent messaging across all departments.
  • Lead internal and external employee storytelling efforts with a focus on the employee experience, core values, company culture, and career opportunities.
  • Manage and submit for employee-centric awards and industry certifications that aid in recruiting efforts (i.e. best places to work, ad trades, HRC).
  • Oversee TKWW’s global Intranet The Knot Spot, producing regular content for employees and working with key stakeholders to ensure the site remains updated.
  • Support the VP, Global Communications and Impact with internal communications needs for the executive team.
  • Propose new and innovative internal communications ideas for our internal communications channels, including our company all hands, Slack, The Knot Spot, digital screens, in-office events, etc.
  • Track, analyze, and report on internal communications metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness of efforts and demonstrate ROI to the business.
