About The Position

As the Senior Manager, Global Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), you will play a pivotal role within the Global Indirect Procurement organization and report directly to the Director, Indirect/Capital Procurement (MRO/Spare Parts/Tools). In this role, you will help ensure Ball’s facilities operate efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with high standards of performance and continuous improvement. You will serve as the primary liaison between our manufacturing sites and the integrated facilities management partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of facilities management experience, including required hands-on experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience working with and managing suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of integrated facilities management models and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities.
  • Working knowledge of food safety requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, efficient work style.

Responsibilities

  • Standards Development
  • Develop, document, and implement facility management standards in partnership with the Ball Operational Excellence team.
  • Drive consistency and quality across all sites and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • KPI Performance Tracking
  • Define, monitor, support, and analyze KPIs to evaluate facility management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver performance insights and updates to senior leadership.
  • Recurring Issue Escalation & Resolution
  • Identify and escalate recurring facility issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders and the facilities management provider to address root causes and prevent reoccurrences.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Lead global continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing facility operations and reducing environmental impact.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions that create long-term enterprise value.
  • Supplier Performance Management
  • Build and maintain a strong, productive relationship with the IFM supplier.
  • Host recurring reviews to maintain alignment with Ball’s expectations, goals, and standards.
  • Contract Adherence
  • Provide guidance to the supplier on program execution and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Develop content and communication materials to educate sites on program initiatives and address escalated concerns.
  • Governance
  • Facilitate monthly regional steering committee meetings, including preparation of meeting content.
  • Lead decision making processes for change controls and standards within governance forums.
  • Partner with the supplier and key stakeholders to establish routines that enhance BOE execution and enable continuous improvement across the program.
