We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead a high-performing team, drive innovation, and align engineering efforts with company goals. This role combines leadership, technical guidance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver operational excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Process).
  • 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering (including leadership roles).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with process control systems and complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of statistical tools, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong technical background with the ability to guide and challenge engineering decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and leadership levels
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and managing capital projects
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members to build and sustain a high-performing, engaged team
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation
  • Assess team workload and performance to ensure optimal resource utilization
  • Prioritize and manage engineering projects focused on operational improvements, cost savings, and quality enhancements
  • Review and approve engineering designs, proposals, and process changes
  • Track and report progress on continuous improvement initiatives to senior leadership
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, project management, and operational teams to ensure alignment and coordination
  • Collaborate with Operations to anticipate and resolve equipment and process issues, minimizing downtime
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows and process controls
  • Participate in budgeting and capital planning, including project justification and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, employee safety, and environmental standards
  • Foster a data-driven culture for resource allocation and prioritization based on measurable business impact
  • Monitor emerging industry trends and evaluate new technologies for potential value and efficiency gains
