Made Possible.  Engineering Sr. Manager – Graphic Packaging International, LLC – 301 Sheehy Parkway, Waco, TX 76712   DUTIES: Be responsible for the overall engineering and project needs for mill. Understand, support, and align engineering objectives with business, cultural, financial, and operational goals to exceed shareholder and customer expectations. Manage day-to-day engineering operations for mill operation. Perform engineering duties. Design processes or systems to improve the mill’s operating efficiency. Keep senior management apprised of engineering situations affecting the mill. Keep mill department managers apprised of situations affecting their machines/equipment within their departments. Supply equipment manuals, drawings, specifications, and information. Utilize SAP for capital project tracking of spending, purchasing, work order generation, and new equipment BOM development. Develop and edit capital expenditure requests as required, submit, and track to approval. Participate in machine outage planning meetings and assist with required maintenance task supervision. Manage the mill’s fixed asset register in collaboration with the finance department. Manage the mill’s capital budget, including local project management and capital spares plan. Participate in meetings and initiatives relating to continuous improvement, safety and environmental development and stewardship, work order scheduling, zoning and city ordinance planning and commission, problem solving, analysis and month-end review of mill KPI Performance scorecard, and action planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field required.
  • Ten years of experience in key maintenance or engineering roles in heavy manufacturing environments required.
  • Eight years of experience in maintenance and operations management required, including any experience managing salaried and hourly employees in an industrial environment.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Up to 10% national travel required.
