About The Position

Sr Manager Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in leading and supporting the design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems in aerospace and defense manufacturing applications. We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days). This is a full-time on-site position for the Healdsburg, CA site but for the right scenario can accommodate someone at our Folsom, CA site

Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops, and evaluates systems as well as improving and maintaining current systems or creating brand new projects.
• Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
• Recommends operational plans with direct impact on results.
• Requires communication with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance, i.e., Constructing and presenting status briefings on technical challenges.
• Works with third party resources, site leadership and other necessary departments to bring comprehensive solutions for operations, production, or maintenance issues related to local production or test failures.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and verification/validation activities.
• Support system qualification and acceptance testing.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and engineering change packages.
• Participate in configuration management and formal change control processes.
