Other locations may be taken into consideration by the management team Position Summary The Senior Manager of Corporate Audit leads a team that creates and executes a risk‑based Audit Plan. The goal is to strengthen controls, reduce risks, and improve operational efficiency. This person manages the audit team, partners with business leaders, and ensures all work follows Internal Audit Methodology. The role follows CVS Health’s hybrid model: 3 days in office (usually Tue–Thu) and the rest at home, depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting or auditing, including writing technical reports.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

  • Strong understanding of processes, risks, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, coaching, and oversight to audit team members.
  • Set daily priorities and objectives.
  • Handle training, development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Assess staffing needs and build a high‑performing team.
  • Stay aware of business changes and suggest ways to improve controls and risk management.
  • Manage project hours and ensure timely delivery of the Audit Plan.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in risk assessment and control design.
  • Share regular updates with stakeholders on audit progress and findings.
  • Promote proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Support transformation efforts and anticipate process or risk‑related changes.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives beyond core audit work while maintaining independence.
  • Review key audit documents (memos, controls analysis, issues lists, reports).
  • Ensure audit issues and reports clearly communicate results to senior leaders.
  • Perform and document audit work following professional standards.
  • Execute testing and create supporting work papers.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and business teams when needed.
  • Create clear documentation of processes, testing, and findings.
  • Understand results and business impacts and communicate them clearly.
  • Work with Internal Audit and business leaders to resolve issues quickly.
  • Present audit findings to management.
  • Complete required administrative tasks.
