Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Inspirational leadership skills, including the ability to set the agenda, communicate clearly and concisely, and influence PEP cross-functional and senior teams.
  • Strong business knowledge and discernment to support cross-functional decision-making that impacts daily manufacturing production/operations and attainment of key Service goals within the transport function
  • Proven track record of balanced results and leadership experience in a dynamic, paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of delivering a compelling message to senior leaders and frontline supervisors
  • Strategic thinker and leader capable of driving key initiatives across the PepsiCo Enterprise
  • Daily leadership of a large and diverse team
  • 7+ years of Logistics or supply chain industry experience
  • 5-7 years in an operational leadership position involving cost ownership of a dynamic P&L
  • Strong relationship-building skills, business development, and sales acumen
  • Deep understanding of transportation markets and extensive experience in long-term pricing strategy development and execution.
  • Proven track record of delivering results by leveraging transportation expertise, analysis, negotiation skills, and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Manager of Account Management, PLCI is responsible for managing key external customer relationships for Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc.'s brokerage business. The role spans 50+ foundational accounts and $80MM in annual gross revenue. The leader will be responsible for all interactions with key executives and decision-makers for the respective accounts. The individual will be responsible for developing transformational business opportunities, developing a long-term pricing strategy, and ensuring that day-to-day execution teams deliver impeccable customer service and meet all customer KPIs.
  • Responsible for identifying and maintaining key decision-maker relationships across each customer's supply chain organization, but the bulk of interaction will be conducted with senior-level decision makers in customers' Transportation Procurement Departments.
  • Primary owner for all long-term Requests for Pricing (RFP). The leader will ensure all timelines are understood and met.
  • Responsible for oversight on short-term pricing requests (spot shipment, ad-hoc, project) to ensure responses align with long-term strategy.
  • Accountable for conducting extensive analysis, creating a sales strategy, establishing a business case for the strategy that aligns with PLCI business goals, and presenting the business case to the PLCI Leadership Team
  • Responsible for developing pricing strategy, ensuring pricing strategy is adequately executed by the pricing team, and ensuring RFP responses are submitted on time.
  • Responsible for all value proposition communication to customers to accompany long-term pricing submissions, including, but not limited to, phone and email interactions, face-to-face sales presentations (in person and/or virtually)
  • The individual will be the "voice of the customer," ensuring that the execution teams have a clear understanding of customer KPI's and performance feedback.
  • The individual will be the final escalation point for customer service gaps, identifying immediate, efficient solutions to meet customer expectations.
  • Constant interaction with the Operation Team to ensure that additional revenue opportunities are being discovered and aligning appropriate resources against each opportunity. Strategic Influence regarding decision brokerage-wide decision making with account management, carrier management, and tech teams to enable overall PLCI supply chain execution.
  • Intricately connected PLCI Carrier Management and Capacity Sourcing teams to ensure the capacity solution meets customer expectations.
  • Direct leadership of 3 direct reports
  • Mentorship and guidance to Account Managers, Carrier Managers, and remote MBS personnel.
  • Responsible for expanding the PEP private fleet footprint across all accounts
  • Responsible for managing scorecards across all accounts. Develop and implement action items that foster an environment of personal and professional growth and employee engagement, leveraging PepsiCo's Career Growth model, PDR development and reviews, career discussions, PEPU, mentorship, SCCA, and other available resources. Creates an inclusive culture in support of The PepsiCo Way and other Org Health objectives.
