About The Position

Drodex is seeking a Sr. Management Analyst (Technical Consultant) to support a high op-tempo, high-visibility, and high-impact office within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This role supports the Office of Strategy, Policy, and Requirements (OSPR) within the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). ASPR leads the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to public health emergencies and disasters, including Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats. The Sr. Management Analyst will provide strategic, analytical, and writing support to leadership by conducting policy analysis, developing high-level written products, and supporting mission-critical initiatives related to national health security and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in policy analysis, strategic planning, or program support within a federal or public health environment
  • Strong experience developing briefings, reports, and executive-level written materials
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced analysis of policy options related to national health security, including CBRN threats, medical countermeasures, emergency preparedness, and public health response.
  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Executive Orders and Presidential Actions, ensuring alignment with agency priorities.
  • Coordinate and track interdepartmental clearance processes for high-level policy and technical documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support congressional testimony, leadership briefings, and strategic communications.
  • Develop high-quality talking points, presentations, briefing materials, and policy documents for senior leadership.
  • Attend meetings with leadership and stakeholders; provide detailed meeting summaries, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Support evaluation of policies, strategies, and programs by identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
  • Track and document policies, decisions, and activities, ensuring proper records management and reporting.
  • Compile and organize research, literature, and best practices into accessible formats for leadership use.
  • Support federal advisory committee activities, including planning meetings, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.
  • Provide advanced writing and editorial support for white papers, policy documents, congressional reports, and external communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to support mission-critical initiatives across ASPR.
