About The Position
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating material flow in and out of the plant, helping ensure the flow of orders through the plant in a timely fashion to meet scheduled shipping dates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics related role.
- Must be customer-oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail is required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with corporate logistics on inbound container shipments from international vendors.
- Schedule with corporate logistics on outbound customer shipments and transfers to other company warehouses
- Provide customs clearance documents for outgoing international shipments.
- Manage and update incoming shipment data on daily production schedule.
- Receive all PO’s material into M3.
- Support shipping and receiving teams when necessary
- Coordinate customer arranged pickups and Hot Shot (rush) customer shipments
- Report/coordinate all daily shipment documents to Finance
- Create Country of Origin documents for customers
- Support customer service with airfreight quotes and specific shipping arrangements
- The position will include performing additional tasks as deemed necessary.
