Sr Java Developer / IT Solutions Designer (US)
About The Position
The Senior Java Developer / IT Solutions Designer leads the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS). This role is largely focused on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects and may also be accountable for complex programming / coding. The individual performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently, possesses advanced knowledge of the business, technical environment, processes, tools, various and multiple programming languages, operating systems, solutions design and other relevant technology areas. They are a subject matter expert in at least one area of discipline and consults with clients and/or project teams on all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware/software support, development of technical solutions and/or testing. The role involves working independently as the senior developer on a diverse range of activities and providing technical guidance to others to help resolve issues within their area of expertise. They also lead the development of detailed, complex and/or comprehensive project plans and understand the impact/risk of integrating third-party solutions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5-7 years related experience
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience with JAVA, J2EE, Web/Rest Services Development
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, Spring Security, Spring Boot, Spring Framework
- 5+ years of experience with Rest API design Patterns, OAUTH, Microservices, Dependency Injection
- 5+ years of experience with Bitbucket, GIT, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud Services on Azure – Docker, Kubernetes
- JSSE, GitHub Co-pilot, SonarCube, JScript experience
- 3+ years of experience in Agile methodology
- Prior experience within financial or banking industry
- Databases experience with MySQL/NoSQL Databases
- Previous Credit Card experience
