Eligibility requirements vary by position. TITLE: Sr. IT System Administrator DUTIES: Design, build, maintain, and support database solutions at on-premise and AWS. Support various databases – Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Sybase IQ, AWS Redshift & RDS, NoSQL. Functions: •Database administration includes database design, software installations, creation and upgrades, replication, backup and recovery, scripting, and performance monitoring. •Set up and monitor DR and Data Guard solutions to reduce the recovery time at the standby site to minimize data loss in case of a disaster. This includes maintaining database service levels and availability goals, and database monitoring. •Manage databases on Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and RDS. •Install/upgrade/configure SQL Server 2012 - 2017 and Oracle 11g, 12c and 19c. •Performance tuning. •Scripting and automation. •Manage and prioritize multiple work streams across different projects and business units. •Work with CI/CD tools to deliver Infrastructure as code – Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Git, Nexus. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of experience as a System Administrator. Experience must include 2 years performance tuning, administer multiple RDBMS platforms like Oracle, mysql, PostgreSQL, SQL server; manage CI/CD tools such as bitbucket, Jenkins, udeploy, and Nexus; administer SQL server 2012, 2016, and 2017; Automate DBA tasks with shell scripting and Python; Data Guard and Active Data Guard; Experience may be gained concurrently. SALARY In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $98k - $128.5k This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days. Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of experience as a System Administrator.
2 years performance tuning, administer multiple RDBMS platforms like Oracle, mysql, PostgreSQL, SQL server
Manage CI/CD tools such as bitbucket, Jenkins, udeploy, and Nexus
Administer SQL server 2012, 2016, and 2017
Automate DBA tasks with shell scripting and Python
Data Guard and Active Data Guard

Responsibilities
