About The Position

ProSync is seeking a passionate IT Program Manager to lead government cybersecurity compliance programs, overseeing FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST-based security control assessments, policy governance, and ATO support. They will provide strategic program management, resource planning, automation and process improvement leadership, audit coordination, and executive reporting, as well as ensures timely, compliant delivery across cloud and on-prem environments while driving knowledge transfer and operational efficiency. Requirements

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology project and program management, systems integration, or enterprise IT modernization.
  • At least eight (8) years must be in a senior leadership or program management role, overseeing large-scale, complex IT initiatives—such as enterprise transformations, multi-agency programs, or mission-critical system implementations.
  • Experience must demonstrate expertise providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise across all phases of IT project lifecycles.
  • A minimum Public Trust security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA PM Level III certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as senior SME overseeing security control assessments, policy updates, template standardization, master scheduling, metrics reporting, and audit support (TIGTA, GAO, OMB).
  • Leads process improvement and automation efforts (including RPA and workflow optimization) to enhance assessment efficiency and reduce risk, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and modernization priorities.
  • Manages resources, subcontractors, financial planning, and stakeholder communications; maintains status reporting and executive dashboards.
  • Drives knowledge transfer and training to federal staff to ensure sustained operational capability.
  • Oversees organizational common control (OCC) assessments and supports complex ATO efforts, ensuring timely, compliant delivery across FISMA cycles and cloud/on-prem environments.
