The Senior Sales Director of Inside Sales is a key leadership role responsible for managing a cross-functional team of SDRs to drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth and mid-market revenue. Reporting to the VP of Inside Sales, this role sets the vision, structure, and rhythm for sales execution, ensuring team performance aligns with sector-specific goals and company priorities. The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, a servant leadership approach, and a track record of building high-performing sales teams through coaching, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of inside sales experience, with demonstrated success in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead and develop remote sales teams
  • Managerial experience with track record of hitting team quotas and pipeline goals
  • Proficient in CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), Excel, and sales engagement tools
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with a glass-half-full mentality, driven to elevate team performance and results

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of 6-12 SDRs to exceed pipeline, conversion, and revenue goals.
  • Design and execute sector-specific outbound strategies, campaigns, and calling projects aligned with broader business priorities.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the VP of Inside Sales to tailor onboarding and development programs for new and tenured team members.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Sector Leadership to align on messaging, ideal customer profiles, and campaign execution.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to monitor KPIs, assess performance trends, and make strategic adjustments to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Ensure accurate pipeline reporting, outreach documentation, and CRM hygiene across the team.
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by VP leadership, contributing to the evolution of the Inside Sales function.
