About The Position

24Seven Hotels is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Generalist to strengthen HR operations across a growing, multiproperty organization (approx. 800 employees across 22 properties). You’ll partner closely with senior HR leadership and operational leaders to drive consistent performance management practices, coach managers, and lead employee relations work, primarily in California, with additional exposure to Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada. This is an in-person position working out of our CA Corporate Office.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Deepexpertisein performance management andleave of absence management.
  • Demonstrated success coaching leaders on corrective action and PIPs.
  • Strong working knowledge of California employment law.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS.
  • Excellent documentation, judgment, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual performance review cycle, including timelines, documentation standards, calibration guidance, and system completion.
  • Coach managers through performance management, corrective action, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Ensure consistent, compliant application of performance practices across all properties.
  • Facilitate required monthly training for all existing and new Managers (General Managers, Regional Leaders, Department Managers) by training leaders on HR expectations, performance standards, and documentation process of a Performance Improvement Plan (PIPs).
  • Assign PR&Drequiredemployee annual training primarily in ADP. Including Harassment Prevention Training(including sexual harassment and workplace conduct); Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Awareness, Workplace Safety, Anti-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, Code of Conduct and Ethics, Emergency Preparedness-Active Shooter Response, Human Trafficking Awareness (requiredin hospitality in some states)
  • Administer the complete Employee Leave process frominitialrequest through approval and documentation, ensuring compliance with FMLA, CFRA, PDL Colorado leave laws, ADA review, and reasonable accommodation requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to reconcile employee benefits premiums and manage arrears during leave periods.
  • Supportonboarding ofnew properties.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws withstrongemphasis on California.
  • Demonstrateproficiencyin ADP Workforce Now, includingHR documentation, reporting, and employee data managementwith specificexpertiseinutilizingthe Performance Management Dashboard.
  • Travel locally 10% to support properties and ER matters.
