About The Position

As a Sr. HR Generalist at LJA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for providing daily support of our Human Resources programs and policies including:  employee relations, investigations, training, performance management, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, policy implementation, change management, Mergers & Acquisitions integration support, and multi-state employment law compliance. This is a 100% in-office role with in-person collaboration and engagement.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years as an HR Generalist
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of small multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Must communicate effectively and be proactive in seeking resolutions
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must have a proactive approach to sharing ideas & creating solutions for HR initiatives
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integrating M&A’s is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and support to managers on issues of company policy & practice interpretation
  • Working with operations to resolve employee relations issues. Investigating, guiding and assisting in dispute resolution with support of HR Manager
  • Assisting with the organization's performance management process through coaching, educating, and providing feedback to managers
  • Supporting the development of HR programs, policies and processes to facilitate employee and organizational development
  • Assisting with annual HR programs including performance management, salary planning and benefits enrollment programs
  • Providing reports and analytics to management as requested
  • Conducting exit interviews and helping provide analytics to management
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal & state employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Responding to HR related inquiries
  • Fostering the LJA culture within assigned regional business units through change management
  • Assisting with M&A activities
  • Serving as liaison within the HR team, and internal corporate business organizations
  • Traveling as needed to other company offices
