Requirements

  • BBA Accounting or Finance required
  • 3-5 years in a FP&A or related role
  • Solid understanding of the Accounting Principles and General Ledger Duties
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel and financial modeling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Hyperion Planning and Budgeting software (SmartView)
  • Oracle software and PRISM/GL Wand a plus
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI) preferred
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic and actionable insights

Responsibilities

  • Drive monthly financial performance reviews, identifying key variances and long-term trends, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Responsible for performing special projects and ad-hoc reports to improve process efficiency and performance
  • Projects as assigned by Reporting Manager
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting packages of the company's financial performance versus budget
  • Assist with key components of the annual plan and monthly forecasting process, including coordination of inputs, margin drivers, and SG&A planning
  • Identify and implement enhancements in reporting, and analytics tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the FP&A function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the P&L to align with our long-term strategy
  • Responsible for the Month-end closing procedure and reconciliation of the General Ledger
  • Ensure high-quality reporting standards and data accuracy
  • Assist in long-term/budget planning on a yearly basis
  • Assist in preparation of leadership and board presentations.
