Requirements

Financial Analysis: Expertise in financial analysis and modeling, including the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop financial forecasts and budgets.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyze business trends, and develop insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the company's business, industry, and market trends, including a deep understanding of financial performance drivers.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and other analytical tools.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Leadership: Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including working with stakeholders across the organization.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify financial issues and recommend solutions.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial data.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and various financial analysis tools, such as ROI, discounted cash flows, and variance analysis.
Strong advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, HLOOKUP, financial modeling) to analyze data and support reporting and decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics.
2 – 5 years of experience conducting a wide range of complex financial analysis activities revenues and costs forecasting required.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in manufacturing, especially the aerospace segment.
Experience with enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms, such as Alteryx, BPC, SAP S/4HANA or Tagetik, for financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial information - historical, prospective or hypothetical - to provide insights for the business regarding its performance, support business decisions, and plans for the future.
Play a key role in the preparation of annual budgets, long-range financial plans, rolling forecasts and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor actual performance against budgets, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with department heads to gather and consolidate budget inputs.
Support monthly close process and assist with the development of executive-level business review packages by ensuring timely delivery of month-end and quarter-end files.
Successfully partner and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain understanding of their needs and to convey and interpret the results of financial analysis.
Prepare formal financial presentation material that is to be delivered by finance and other leaders of the business.
Conduct thorough analysis of financial data – whether historical, prospective, or hypothetical – to provide actionable business insights, support strategic decision-making, and assist in future planning.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, while clearly presenting and interpreting the outcomes of financial analyses.
Create and deliver professional financial presentation materials for use by finance teams and business leaders.
Leverage advanced proficiency in software tools, including Excel, to efficiently gather, organize, and analyze data, ensuring accurate calculations and completion of work documents.
