Job Description: Role Overview Fluence is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide financial modelling and analysis supporting global and regional strategic technology investments and programs. This role reviews the financial impact of these investments and programs, helping to develop a business case and evaluating its progress. This role requires being well versed in financial concepts and tools, being an expert in performing multifaceted financial analysis, and being able to clearly communicate the outcomes from these analyses. This role builds strong partnerships with cross-functional teams throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working at a multinational corporation in a global role.
  • Proficient at solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and proficiency in financial software applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capability to drive and manage change.
  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CFA designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain multi-variable models to determine the costs and benefits of strategic technology investments and programs including highlighting key assumptions and recommendations.
  • Schedule and moderate meetings with internal teams to obtain or share inputs and track deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver content for cross functional operational reviews with internal leadership.
  • Research market conditions to understand the impact on projects.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads and finance team to develop, track, and manage departmental and program budgets.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide proactive analysis to explain and address deviations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
