JOB SUMMARY Responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial systems, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement changes to financial systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and knowledge of financial principles and practices. Additionally, may also be involved in system testing, troubleshooting, and providing support to end-users. This role will work closely with existing Point-of-Sale Accounting Partners, as well as cross-functionally with many stakeholders throughout the company. It will also focus on opportunities to enrich controls, processes, & procedures tied to accounting aspects of the Point-of-Sale system, as well as corresponding accounting store support functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Information Technology: - Serve as lead over one suite of modules or breadth of knowledge of technology supported by team - Lead teams to complete technology projects - Serve as key contributor in process design for related area - Lead design/implementation of system or data integration and reporting - Apply understanding of available technical resources; select most relevant, innovative options as solutions - Own relationships with business units to translate needs into technology solutions - Coordinate efforts between vendor and/or internal stakeholders - Redesign/actively work to reengineer processes to leverage technology to be more efficient, accurate, and customer-oriented - Serve as mentor to Accounting/Finance Technology Advisors and build best practices for the team - Competently perform Finance Systems Analyst II duties Analytics: - Identify and develop benchmarks and metrics for data; ensure data integrity of integrated systems - Proactively identify issues and gaps within current business processes and reporting - Build and deliver complex reports using multiple data sets The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
