About The Position

The Senior Epicor Solutions Specialist supports the CIO in managing and optimizing GCM’s Epicor ERP environment. This role serves as a senior technical and functional resource, capable of independently analyzing problems, designing solutions, and executing system changes. A major component of this position is managing the Epicor workstream during integration of acquired companies, including configuration, data migration support, testing coordination, and go-live activities. This individual will be expected to work with minimal supervision and provide expert-level insight into Epicor capabilities and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment
  • Expert-level experience with BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, SSRS, and customizations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementations or major upgrades
  • Ability to work across global teams and understand end-to-end manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating newly acquired companies into Epicor
  • Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with Epicor REST tools
  • Background in process mapping, continuous improvement, or quality-driven environments
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to operate independently

Responsibilities

  • Epicor System Management & Optimization
  • Support the CIO in managing day-to-day Epicor operations.
  • Independently design, build, and maintain BAQs, Dashboards, BPMs, Functions, Customizations, and SSRS reports.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Epicor usage across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and finance.
  • Maintain and enhance menu structures, security groups, system options, and workflow automation (under the CIO’s direction).
  • Participate in and document system configuration changes per internal IT and QMS requirements.
  • Functional & Technical Analysis
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, map processes, and translate needs into Epicor solutions.
  • Analyze existing workflows to identify gaps or inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Ensure solutions align with the “GCM Way” of standardized Epicor processes.
  • Acquisition Integration Project Work
  • Serve as the primary execution lead for Epicor-related tasks in acquisition integrations.
  • Coordinate data mapping, migration validation, test cycles, and UAT processes.
  • Work with new-site functional teams to ensure correct system setup and process alignment.
  • Assist the CIO in building reusable templates and standard work for future integrations.
  • Support, Training & Documentation
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 Epicor support and resolve escalated issues.
  • Create training materials, reference guides, dashboards, and knowledge articles for end users.
  • Mentor junior team members and support functional champions at each plant site.
