Role Summary In this role you will be responsible for developing and deploying process improvements across the product development organization. You will be expected to collaborate across the organization to develop a series of projects to improve the quality, efficiency and speed of the product development process. This role requires a high level of motivation, an understanding of product development and process improvement methodologies, and an ability to deliver measurable improvements to the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering discipline, computer science, or equivalent STEM subject
• 4+ years experience within automotive product development or similar field
• 2+ years experience in process development methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar
• Open minded, adventurous and curious mindset
• Collaborative & results driven approach
• Self-motivated with high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Identification of gaps, inefficiencies and other opportunities across the organization through x-functional collaboration
• Development and utilization of data to prioritize projects and communicate process effectiveness
• Project management through entire lifecycle of project deliverables
• Communication across the organization of roadmap, priorities and best practices
• Process expert within Rivian, providing direction and training to colleagues within the day-to-day workspace and championing optimism throughout the organization
