About The Position

Business Process Engineer The Opportunity: When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a business process spe cia list to learn its mission end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That’s why we need an experienced business process spe cia list like you who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the steps to improve their process. As a business process spe cia list on our team, you’ll analyze your client’s current operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You’ll facilitate discussions with leadership, analysts, and support staff to help refine your client’s definition of success and identify current f rus trations. You’ll design data collection plans, facilitate workshops, and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using your keen expertise and knowledge to help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders. Using business process design thinking and continuous process improvement , you’ll provide your client with recommendations along with a firm grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. Requirements

  • Experience in the Planning, Programming, Budget ing, and Execution ( PPBE ) process, finan cia l forecasting, and cost estimation
  • Experience with DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and processes, finan cia l forecasting, and cost estimation
  • Experience with defense finan cia l management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation
  • Knowledge of tracking program finan cia ls, managing budget s, and aligning funding streams with DoD finan cia l planning processes
  • Bachelor's degree in a Finance or Business Administration field, or 5+ years of experience in finan cia l management in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of strong analytical and reporting skills, to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking, and finan cia l reporting
  • Lean Six, PMP, KM, Certified Defense Finan cia l Manager ( CDFM ) , CPA, or Finan cia l Management DAWIA Level II Certification
