Directly responsible for optimizing the policies, programs, processes, and procedures related to the Emergency Response Core Function of the Management Model. This position has governance, oversight, and accountability for any one of several Emergency Response programs including, Damage Assessment, Incident command, Drills, Staffing, Training, Facilities, Lessons Learned, ERD Peer Groups, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and any or all related tools and technology functions that support the Emergency Response Organization. This position is responsible for defining, executing, and maintaining these programs and the supporting processes and procedures that describes the execution of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO). The Senior Emergency Preparedness Administrator must drive continuous improvement of the Emergency Response core function and must identify and evaluate performance barriers and capture gaps that adversely impacts ComEd's emergency response efforts. Equally, the Sr. EP Administrator is accountable for developing relationships with industry peers and experts to define best practices & standards and to assertively challenge the status quo. In addition, each Sr. EP Administrator maintains a close working relationship with an assigned storm team and is expected to monitor their team's performance and assist that team's leadership with execution of all storm processes and team membership. The Sr. EP Administrator is accountable for maintaining and monitoring ERO performance through various metrics such as Storm CAIDI, Storm Activation Ratios, ETRs and Cap and O&M measures, and Customer Service Levels. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
