Job Summary The Sr. Director, Marketing will lead the marketing function, developing and executing innovative strategies that align with our mission. This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s brand identity, crafting compelling commercial messaging/content, and driving revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to drive marketing in a high-growth, private equity-backed company and make transformational impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in marketing roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, concepts, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, tools, and social media platforms.
  • Analytical skills in evaluating marketing metrics and campaign effectiveness and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative business partner with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing best practices.
  • Ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the company's objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, traditional advertising, and events. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the launch and ongoing management of the company’s brand refresh to strengthen brand identity and market positioning. Ensure consistent messaging, visual identity, and voice across all marketing materials, channels, and customer touchpoints.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of three marketing professionals, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and product development, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI. Track expenses and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, SEM, and B2B social media strategies. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and incorporate relevant strategies into the overall marketing plan.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of marketing activities. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Innovation and Adaptation: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and incorporate new and creative approaches into marketing strategies.
  • Networking: Support the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and promote the brand.
