About The Position

SHI, one of the world’s leading technology solutions providers and America’s largest Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE), is hiring a Senior Director, Hyperscaler Marketing to help advance SHI’s growth ambitions, partner leadership, and customer-first mindset. By owning SHI’s hyperscaler marketing engine, this leader plays a critical role in shaping how SHI competes, differentiates, and wins in partner-led markets. The Senior Director is responsible for scaling SHI’s end-to-end marketing strategy across its most strategic hyperscaler relationships, including Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud. This role drives measurable pipeline and revenue impact through best-in-class demand generation, differentiated messaging, and high-value customer experiences across the full lifecycle—from awareness through expansion. Operating at the intersection of partner strategy, customer insight, and performance marketing, this leader translates hyperscaler priorities and SHI’s unique value into integrated programs that accelerate growth and deepen long-term partnerships. The role ensures marketing investment is data-driven, focused, and tightly aligned to business outcomes, while reinforcing SHI’s position as a trusted hyperscaler partner. As the executive owner of hyperscaler marketing, the Senior Director builds scalable operating models, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and develops high-performing teams capable of delivering consistent demand, compelling narratives, and exceptional end-to-end customer experiences. This role is central to SHI’s long-term growth strategy and its continued leadership within the hyperscaler ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work experience required
  • 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with senior leadership responsibility, preferably at a hardware or IT services company, with at least 2 years in a Director-level role.
  • Deep experience working with hyperscalers such as Microsoft, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive go-to-market plans
  • Strong technical literacy (particularly in AI) with the ability to understand and simplify complex concepts for different audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable crafting and presenting various content pieces
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills to navigate obstacles, propose solutions, and resolve issues
  • Metrics-driven and focused on driving incremental results
  • Natural curiosity and empathy for customers and their challenges
  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Experience in utilizing current marketing channels and techniques to effectively reach and engage target audiences.
  • The skill to assess market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • The capability to design and implement marketing strategies that align with the overall business strategy, driving organizational success through effective branding and market positioning.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and board members, which is essential for fostering collaboration and ensuring organizational alignment.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies to generate interest and support the sales process.
  • Understanding of IT industry trends and dynamics, ensuring continuous learning and staying ahead of market shifts.
