Job Summary Manages a business unit with responsibility for budgets and profitability | Has P&L responsibility | Plans, coordinates and manages the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment) to deliver timely results | May manage the development and implementation of general operating policies, processes and procedures for the organization and lead special projects in multiple areas Impact of the Role General Profile Provides leadership and direction through managers Must have at least one manager level direct report Is accountable for the performance and results of a division or region Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategy and priorities Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company's mission and goals. Researches and analyzes industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest. Identifies and prioritizes product and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation. Develops complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocations, plans for projects and oversees profit and loss alongside company initiatives. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business. Owns short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
