About The Position

BMS is in process of rewiring our marketing approach and moving toward a best-in-class, AI-driven commercialization model. AI will play a key role in increasing our speed, relevance, and impact of our insight driven strategic choices, our customer-facing content, and our omnichannel and measurement plan empowering our marketers to deliver exceptional and transformative customer experiences. Achieving our AI-driven marketing vision requires a full transformation of our capabilities, processes, and tools. We are looking for a leader of our End-to-End (E2E) AI Marketing Integration Leads to drive collaboration with our Commercialization AI Strategy& Analytics (CASA) Leadership Team members, our Marketing and Launch Excellence Team, our brand and market cross-functional teams, our Agencies, and Consulting Partners, guiding these teams and the organization through this exciting evolution. The candidate should have leadership/manager experience, be commercially savvy as well as have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to drive the change required to revamp our marketing approach and drive impact.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required with advanced degree preferred
  • Previous and demonstrated leadership of Change or Integration Leadership team for at minimum 2 years
  • Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry required, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant commercial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with organizational executives to establish a vision and roadmap to achieve that vision including expertise in crafting clear, compelling, and inspiring global communications that drive understanding, engagement, and advocacy across the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels including demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate with brand and market-level leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and align the organization through transformative change. Cultivate stakeholder engagement and enablement of change champions to drive and sustain adoption
  • Proven track record of managing complex rollout plans while remaining agile in adjusting tactics and timelines to address the unique needs of varying brands and markets
  • Strong ability to leverage brand and market insights to inform stakeholder strategies and tailor initiatives accordingly
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in shaping and executing tailored training programs (in collaboration with Worldwide Commercialization Learning) that build capabilities and facilitate effective adoption of new tools and processes
  • Ability to drive capability planning for the E2E Integration Lead team to ensure key initiatives are prioritized
  • Working knowledge of AI platforms, tools, and prompts for marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow direct reports
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to engage with global teams and stakeholders in support of change management initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of four E2E Integration Leads (3 US based, 1 EU based) empowering change leadership while prioritizing the team’s workload and capacity
  • Work, in partnership with the CASA Leadership Team, to establish and embed the CASA Rewire Marketing Roadmap
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners including Marketing and Launch Excellence, Worldwide Commercialization Learning, key brand and market leaders, Agencies, and Consultant Partners to drive adoption and embed revamped AI-driven processes, tools, and capabilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change strategies, including stakeholder identification and engagement approaches, informed by deep insights from the market and brand levels
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders and empower the E2E AI Marketing Integration Leads to design tailored change initiatives that implement tactical execution, adapting by brand and market as necessary to ensure success
  • Establish and leverage global communications frameworks, identify and enable change champions across the organization and fostering a deep culture of advocacy
  • Embrace, build, and extend the AI-driven marketing vision including implementing the GenAI-enabled Content Hub (Mosaic)
  • Shape, communicate, and evolve a compelling transformation narrative that aligns with the CASA strategic vision and the Rewire Marketing goals

  • Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
