About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to take a leading role in building and deploying machine learning solutions that power personalization and create measurable business impact. This is a highly visible, cross-functional position where you will work closely with product managers, ML engineers, and commercial stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights and scalable models. You’ll leverage cutting-edge tools and techniques to segment users, predict behaviors, and optimize experiences across the customer journey. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design and deliver advanced analytics projects from exploration and modeling through deployment and measurement of impact. You’ll make technical decisions, lead collaborative problem-solving sessions, and mentor other data scientists as you raise the overall level of technical rigor within the team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys turning complexity into clarity, and is motivated by seeing their models drive real-world outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree needed in a highly numerate major (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science, creating and deploying models
• Strong expertise in ML modeling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and recommender systems.
• Hands on experience working in customer personalization and a strong understanding of the technical elements required in building and maintaining advanced models
• Experience in experimentation to validate models' impact and ability to quantify that impact
• Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, and ML infrastructure tools like MLflow and SageMaker.
• Experience with statistical modeling, A/B testing, and customer segmentation techniques.
• Can write production level code, understand principles of programming
• Strategic thinker with a proven ability to balance short-term results with long-term goals.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative team player who excels in cross-functional environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing and overseeing ML platforms and building unified data products across multiple domains.
• Familiarity with online gaming platforms, trading systems, and marketing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to drive personalized recommendations and user experiences across business units
• Perform analysis on large and complex data sets utilizing relevant tools (SQL, Python, Spark) and provide strategic contributions
• Use statistical and machine learning techniques to segment users and predict future behaviors, developing automated logic and decision algorithms to deliver a better experience to the customer
• Lead projects from start to finish, set proper expectations, and collaborate with other data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to communicate technical findings and support data driven decision making
• Oversee the integration and deployment of cross-functional and cross-organizational projects, developing process improvements and technical leadership
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in data science and leverage cutting edge technology
• Mentor, brainstorm with, and enable others within the DS team and broader Data organization
