About The Position

Customs Strategy & Compliance: Develop and manage regional strategies to ensure trade compliance, handle daily broker issues, and support shipment clearance. Process Improvement & Risk Management: Lead projects to enhance reconciliation processes, manage ISF processes, and assess risks for new trade topics. Supplier & Customer Management: Oversee solicitation and qualification processes, address supplier escalations, and improve processes for duty avoidance and customer requests. Regulatory & Audit Support: Process CBP penalties and information requests, support government audits, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Training & Reporting: Conduct company trainings on free trade agreements, manage ACE/CARM accounts, and create quarterly KPI reports.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in customs and trade management
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Logistics, International Trade, or related field (15+ years direct experience in customs or international trade will be considered in lieu of)
In-depth knowledge of US/CA customs regulations and free trade agreements
Experience in project management and process optimization
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Must be willing to travel to other sites as needed
