Join us as a Sr Costing Engineer Your main responsibilities Manage product cost structure development & product cost determination at the component level, conduct analysis of bills of material & verification for manufactured / assembled components. Responsible to build and maintain costing process competence from design to manufacturing and manage actions for costing opportunities and business case realization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineerin g or other closely related field of study ; plus 60 months (5 years) of experience in the offered position or other closely related positions. Experiences may be concurrent.

Responsibilities

  • Cost estimates/comparison for product manufactured and purchased by supply chain (20%).
  • Evaluation cost estimate targets through the design and development process and recommending cost-effective solutions (should costing and benchmarking) (30%).
  • Investigation of cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review and take actions to implement initiatives (cost-out and project management) (30%).
  • Costing and configuration support for highly relevant projects, including new product launch and existing product change management. (20%).
