About The Position
Cox Automotive is searching for a Sr Consultant Org Designer. This is a 9-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in organizational design and related disciplines
- Strong understanding of organizational theory, design principles, and business strategy
- Experience with restructuring, mergers, or large-scale organizational transformations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with organizational design tools and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Conduct organizational assessments to evaluate current structures, roles, and processes
- Design and implement organizational models, including reporting structures, spans of control, and role definitions
- Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment between organizational design and talent strategies
- Develop transition plans and support implementation of new structures, including communication and change management activities
- Provide expertise on organizational design principles, benchmarking, and best practices
- Analyze organizational effectiveness metrics and recommend improvements
