As a Senior Consultant, Executive Compensation, you will help design, implement, and govern executive compensation and variable rewards programs and policies. You will ensure all elements of executive compensation are competitive, compliant, and drive business goals. To succeed, you will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers, Human Resources (HR) partners and leaders in support of the company's strategy. This role is ideal for someone who combines analytical and executive compensation expertise with strategic thinking and thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of progressive human resources experience, including a minimum of 6 years specializing in compensation, with a strong emphasis on executive compensation—ideally within a publicly traded company environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing incentive programs, managing job architecture frameworks, and leading comprehensive market benchmarking initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Workday, and market pricing platforms, along with a solid foundation in job evaluation methodologies.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates sharp business acumen, executive-level consulting expertise, and the ability to distill complex data into clear, strategic insights that drive performance and align with organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills are essential.
  • Ability to proactively identify trends and assess potential business impacts through an organizational lens.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate studies in areas such as business administration, finance, human resources and psychology or graduate level studies in business or industrial psychology preferred.
  • CCP, CEBS, SPHR or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic consulting on executive compensation matters including employment contracts, severance, officer elections, disclosures, CEO performance evaluation process, board compensation, incentive design, and governance policies and practices.
  • Partners with senior leaders to shape, educate, and communicate compensation philosophy and programs for key executive roles.
  • Ensures executive roles are internally equitable and externally competitive, creating innovative solutions for complex compensation matters and total rewards-related issues.
  • Provides thought leadership in helping design and shape executive compensation strategies, programs, plan designs, and use of various compensation vehicles all to support business strategies and drive long-term value creation.
  • Collaborates with the senior stakeholders in HR, finance, and other areas to ensure clarity and alignment of compensation plan with other HR and business strategies.
  • Communicates changes or updates to plan designs, programs, incentives, and participation with key audiences to ensure full understanding.
  • Conducts market research and presents data, analysis, insights, and recommendations to enhance compensation programs and governance.
  • Build and manage relationships with external consultants, vendors, and internal Centers of Expertise to ensure alignment across HR strategies.
  • Supports regulatory and disclosure requirements, including Compensation Disclosure & Analysis (proxy), S-1 and other filings, and statutory reporting.
  • Implements controls and improve processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and upholds governance standards in all aspects of executive compensation.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
