About The Position

Perform a variety of analytical compensation functions including but not limited to job analysis, external market and internal pay practice analyses, and pay and compliance audits in order to recruit, retain, and reward team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of relevant Human Resources/Compensation experience required.
  • Two (2) years human resources, HRIS, or related HR analysis experience required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of spreadsheet, word processing and HRIS applications.
  • Knowledgeable of Human Resources guidelines, processes and policies.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of direct Compensation/Incentive analysis/administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides proactive consultation on routine compensation matters ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Offers education and guidance to customers on compensation matters.
  • Assists with the development of new compensation programs and recommends changes in current programs which reflect Orlando Health compensation strategy.
  • Coordinates job description review and revision process.
  • Conducts market pricing analyses and completes participation in salary surveys. Tracks trends and developments in assigned areas.
  • Performs job analysis to include questionnaires, on-site interviews and observations.
  • Performs comprehensive base pay analysis, modeling, and costing.
  • Provides consultation on out-of-guideline pay actions.
  • Recommends approval or denial of special payroll check requests, performing calculations as necessary.
  • Assists in administering Orlando Health compensation system to include maintaining the job worth hierarchy, job evaluation process, special pay programs, incentive plans, and merit cycle.
  • Create and maintain various corporate and special reports.
  • Maintains compensation tables in various HRIS applications.
  • Documents procedures and recommendations to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts wage and hour investigations and ensures necessary corrective action is taken. Calculates monies owed including manual overtime computations as required.
  • Work with HRIS and IS to ensure that current systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect compensation changes and additions. Performs system functionality and data testing.
  • Audits and performs problem resolution on a variety of compensation and human resource issues.
  • Conducts group or individual training sessions as needed.
  • Assists with compensation projects from inception to post implementation.
  • Participates in development of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all Orlando Health information.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
