About The Position

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the execution of large-scale, high-impact construction and renovation projects for our venues across the United States. This leadership role requires an accomplished professional with expertise in project management, strategic planning, and operational excellence. The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of multiple projects, managing complexity, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar role, preferably in the entertainment or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-profile construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience producing and presenting detailed cost reports to executive leadership.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of complex construction and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Develop comprehensive project strategies, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and schedule development. Oversee the full project lifecycle, from inception to successful delivery.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to project managers, contractors, architects, and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Mentor and guide junior project team members, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Act as the primary decision-maker on project-related matters, balancing competing priorities effectively.
  • Advanced Budget and Financial Management: Take ownership of project budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational expectations. Produce, review, and present detailed cost reports to executive leadership, providing insights into financial progress and risk areas. Implement strategies for cost optimization while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Scheduling and Resource Planning: Develop, own, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation. Monitor progress against schedules and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks impacting project outcomes, employing advanced problem-solving techniques. Lead contingency planning efforts to address unforeseen challenges and ensure project continuity.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and uphold quality standards across all projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Perform regular quality audits and collaborate with teams to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Executive-Level Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and executive leadership, providing concise and actionable updates. Present project progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Contract and Vendor Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgetary constraints. Manage vendor relationships, monitoring performance and ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
