PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests. As assigned by Shift Manager, oversees daily gaming operations for all casino games, including but not limited to starting, combining, and breaking games. Ensures that games are running smoothly in assigned gaming areas and assists in resolving gaming disputes. Provides recommendation in the issuance of comps and guest complaint resolution. Maintains integrity of all Casino Games consistent with Company policies and procedures. Monitors floor staff’s performance in responding to customers’ needs to ensure alignment with established policies and procedures. Reports any “out of the ordinary situations or problems” involving customers or employees to the Shift Manager and makes recommendations regarding solutions. Maintains communication with the Shift Manager and other floor personnel about suspicious or unusual activity. Must have knowledge of and comply with BSA/AML policies and procedures as well as all compliance-related regulations and SOPS. Walks the casino floor to observe the operations Walking on a carpeted surface between the Poker side and California Games side with a total of 270 tables. Lifts/carries a tray of chips to buy for a customer or return to the dealer desk. Longest distance from dealer desk to farthest table is 500 feet. The heaviest tray of chips is (14.05 lbs.) which includes a rack of green chips weighing (2.47 lbs.) and a rack of yellow chips weighing (2.43 lbs.) Typical distance walked in a shift is 12-14 miles. Carries a radio wired with an earpiece weighing 11 oz that is clipped on a belt. Responsible for all other work-related duties assigned by Casino Management.
