Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones. The candidate will support the Monitoring & Inspection (Quality Control) team in mitigating risk across the Enterprise AML program. This is an Enterprise AML team – responsibilities are cross-FLU and give a great opportunity for exposure and development in a dynamic environment. The candidate will lead process, control, and metric responsibilities related to Financial Crimes compliance quality performance across 39 jurisdictions.

  • 3+ years’ experience with an internal audit, testing, risk management, process improvement, compliance, or front-line control role
  • Experience with AML/KYC due diligence processes including the oversight of quality
  • Project Management skills and ability to manage various project timelines with multiple competing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and understand complex matters, anticipate risks, and summarize key information
  • Critical thinking skills to assess data, artifacts and new or unfamiliar business concepts to draw conclusions that are not readily apparent
  • Strong research and analytical skills and attention to detail but in context with broader business landscape
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, a self-starter, organized, capable of performing work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to interact with people in all levels of the organization and ability to organize data for executive level reporting
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to present key messages, effective recommendations, and information in a clear, concise, insightful, and influential way

Responsibilities

  • Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting
  • Oversee and drive effective change management of metrics impacted by Law, Rule, and Regulation changes, as well as BAU maintenance and enhancements
  • Own end-to-end reporting of M&I produced metrics in applicable scorecards for Global Operations reporting
  • Engage and coordinate with subject matter experts in the analysis of processes to identify potential enhancements
  • Identify automation opportunities with effective and efficient technologies, where possible
  • Support Audit, Exam and/or Testing processes, ensure proper governance and protocol is followed; assist with preliminary research and response tracking
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, escalate accordingly, and drive resolution including the design of effective internal controls
  • Support or lead the implementation of various special projects designed to further mitigate risks and drive operational excellence within the AML program
  • Perform monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Ensure accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
