Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to enable clear, consistent, and trusted portfolio‑level visibility for senior leaders and stakeholders by coordinating executive engagement, consolidating and communicating portfolio progress, and supporting informed decision‑making. The role ensures leaders have timely, accurate insight into execution status, risks, trade‑offs, and priorities; reinforces adoption of a portfolio mindset; supports stakeholder readiness during transitions and change; and coordinates high‑quality responses to regulatory and external requests to reduce risk and maintain organizational credibility. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Role is considered to be the Career Level. Job Scope This is an individual contributor position that works independently with only general direction, relying on knowledge skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The position regularly mentors less experienced colleagues. Position requires routine interaction with key internal and external stakeholders, executives, directors, managers and staff across the organization. May require working extended hours and/or shift work to support business operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering AND 4-7 years of related business experience, or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant business experience is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g., asset management, electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs, transmission operations and planning).
  • Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), specialized business technologies and applications (e.g., workforce management, project management, PassPort, Brio, CIS, EPS, Business Objects, SAP planning, business modeling, forecasting, voice response unit, automatic call distributors, work management, outage management) to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.
  • Ability to provide in-depth analysis and apply managerial accounting concepts, customer intelligence gathering, forecasting, staff planning, scheduling, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial, accounting, business and budget analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills for project evaluation including analysis of complex projects with economic, financial, risk and decision analysis. Proficient in business case development and ability to effectively present business cases to business unit leadership.
  • Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis) benchmarking and audit compliance. Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.

  • Ability to develop clear, engaging written content, including storytelling, editorial writing, internal communications, or brand messaging, across multiple channels by translating complex or technical concepts into accessible messaging that reflects diverse stakeholder perspectives.
  • Experience developing change-related communications (e.g., leadership talking points, FAQs, toolkits, intranet content, campaigns) and iterating content based on feedback to align with brand, tone, and messaging guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop executive‑ready materials that communicate portfolio status, risks, priorities, and progress.
  • Consolidate delivery team inputs into structured, portfolio‑level reports highlighting risks and tradeoffs.
  • Support senior leadership and board‑level engagements with high‑quality, decision‑ready materials.
  • Improve reporting transparency and consistency through standard formats, narratives, and quality checks.
  • Monitor change execution, surface adoption risks, and escalate issues with clear context and analysis.
  • Independently manage sensitive deliverables with accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment to reduce risk.
