About The Position

The role of a Sr Business Analyst Web involves collaborating with various teams (developers, project managers, quality assurance, business teams, and technical support) to provide both business and technical direction throughout the system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. This position requires meeting with Company Executives to understand strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business processes. Key responsibilities include documenting business requirements, potentially developing and overseeing project plans, coordinating technical specifications, and enforcing change control procedures. The analyst must proactively engage with users at all levels, maintain project schedules, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. They are expected to develop and maintain project documentation, act as an advocate for customers, and build strong Mouser business acumen. The role also involves promoting code reuse, contributing to a knowledge library, and mentoring associates. For a Senior Web Business Analyst, this role demands a strong understanding of Mouser’s ecommerce ecosystem and its supporting platforms, expert subject matter knowledge in established program value areas, and strategic thinking to contribute to the roadmap and vision by identifying stakeholder/market needs, segmentation, sizing, and competitive landscapes to achieve desirable, feasible, and sustainable outcomes. The Senior Analyst is expected to have a consistent track record of driving successful project and initiative delivery, mentor peers in business and stakeholder analysis, and continuously improve product management skills and practices, serving as a team subject matter expert.

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst, product manager or equivalent position
6+ years with ecommerce environments (B2B required)
For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience
Minimum Highly Effective performance in current role
Expert proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycles and frameworks
Proven experience with problem solving and solution development
Authority on all business analysis deliverables and artifacts
Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative interpersonal style in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Experience with Mockup creation and prototyping using HTML

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, Project managers, quality assurance, business teams and technical support to provide a mix of business and technical direction on systems, design, development, testing and deployment
Meet with Company Executives to learn strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business process
Document business requirements, may develop and oversee project plans, oversee and coordinate the development of technical specifications, and help enforce change control procedures
Take initiative to spend time with all levels of users (formal meetings, informal meetings, observing work, etc.)
May develop and maintain project schedules with appropriate input, including all necessary activities and dependencies
Establish open, fluid and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders and the project team
Develop and maintain all Project Documentation for all assigned projects
Be seen as an advocate for the customers/users
Develop and maintain a strong Mouser business acumen and use it with each assignment
Ensure an increased level of code reuse and contribute to the growth and use of the knowledge library
Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment
Represent the company and Internet Business in a professional manner
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external contacts
