We are looking for a creative, passionate and detail-oriented Sr. Brand Marketing Associate to join the consumer marketing team for Cars.com. Reporting directly to the Brand Marketing Manager, you'll play a crucial role in creative strategy and production, writing briefs, ensuring brand consistency across all channels, collaborating internally and with external agency partners and helping to measure campaign effectiveness. Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Very detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and an intense focus on quality and detail in all output.
  • Highly collaborative with an ability to partner across the organization to bring a project from concept to execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social media and/or influencer marketing a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and finalize creative briefs ensuring all necessary information is clearly documented and aligned to the brand strategy.
  • Lead the creative review and approval process, particularly social and digital, ensuring creative development remains on brief and on time.
  • Manage the day to day influencer partnership process from selection through to creative execution and campaign measurement.
  • Partner with our media agency and new partners or vendors to ensure creative placement and execution against brand strategy and guidelines and drive innovative thinking for creative partnership.
  • Lead the tracking and aggregation of marketing campaign performance data across various channels and summarize and share learnings to partners internally and externally to drive continuous improvement.
  • Compile reports focused on key brand health metrics, competitive insights, and campaign performance pulling out insights to share with the team.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners across social, lifecycle, product marketing, editorial, PR and others to drive consistent execution against the brand and content strategy across channels.
  • Lead the development of printed materials for placement in dealerships, owning the vendor relationship, budget and overall project and timeline management.
  • Serve as a main point of contact with external production vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within spec.
