About The Position

We’re seeking a Sr. Analyst-BI who can both design scalable BI/data solutions and deliver actionable insights and dashboards. You’ll own the end‑to‑end path—from requirements and data modeling through visualization, performance optimization, and stakeholder enablement—so business teams get trustworthy, fast answers to the right questions. You’ll partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing, building a governed semantic layer and self‑service capabilities while tackling complex ad‑hoc analyses. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years in BI/Analytics with combined experience in data modeling and dashboard development.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft BI tools (Power BI) and visualization best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or food manufacturing industry.
  • 1+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, Microsoft database technologies, and DevOps.
  • Advanced SQL; working knowledge of ETL tooling and Python (e.g. PySpark, SemPy) for data wrangling/automation.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, define KPIs, and convert business questions into analytical outputs.
  • Experience tuning dataset/report performance and implementing row‑level security.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong skills in technical draftsmanship and working knowledge of standard software and database documentation artifacts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Azure data services or equivalent cloud data platforms.
  • Exposure to forecasting/statistical methods and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new BI products (e.g. datasets, reports, dashboards) following reference architecture (data sources → staging/ETL → warehouse/data lake → semantic models → reports) emphasizing security, lineage, and reusability.
  • Design and build data models for reporting.
  • Establish and enforce development standards (naming, versioning, code review, test/data validation, documentation).
  • Optimize pipelines (SQL/ETL) and ensure reliable, well‑modeled datasets for reporting.
  • Implement performance strategies (partitioning, aggregations, incremental refresh, caching, index tuning).
  • Translate business requirements into Microsoft Fabric solutions; iterate quickly with stakeholders.
  • Create Business Requirements Documentation (BRDs) in partnership with stakeholders
  • Write advanced T-SQL, Power Query, and DAX scripts; build reusable measures and shared data models
  • Drive adoption: publish content, manage workspace/app security, and conduct training/office hours.
  • Perform descriptive/diagnostic analyses; run sensitivity/what‑if scenarios to inform inventory, pricing, and service trade‑offs.
  • Build forecasts or simple statistical models where appropriate; validate results and quantify business impact.
  • Create clear data stories—narratives that highlight drivers, risks, and recommended
  • Perform other duties assigned that support the overall success of the team, department, or organization. This may include participating in cross-functional initiatives, contributing to process improvements, or assisting with special projects as needed.
