About The Position

YINLUN TDI LLC is seeking a Sr. Application Engineer - HVAC to serve as the technical lead for our U.S. customers, focusing on HVAC design and applications for on-highway trucks and off-highway machines. The ideal candidate will work closely with U.S. and global teams to deliver innovative HVAC solutions tailored to customer requirements while driving product development and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Thermal, or related fields)
• Minimum 5 years in application engineering, HVAC system design, or thermal management for vehicles.
• Experience in the on-highway and off-highway markets is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in HVAC systems, heat exchangers, and thermal management principles.
• Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, and program management.
• CAD proficiency (e.g., Catia V5,UG/NX, SolidWorks, Pro/E, or Creo).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with global teams (Mandarin skills are a plus but not required).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as injection molding, aluminum casting, and brazing is a plus.
• Experience in the on-highway and off-highway markets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison for U.S. customers in the truck and off-highway sectors.
• Analyze RFQs and develop tailored HVAC technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the HQ engineering team in China and cross-functional U.S. teams to coordinate activities, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of HVAC systems for vehicles and machinery, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Stay updated on U.S. and global HVAC regulations and standards, incorporating them into product designs.
• Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, and trade shows.
• Travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%) to support customer projects.
