Job Summary: Maintains responsibility for strategizing and executing Annual Giving programs. Identifies and qualifies prospective donors, cultivating positive relationships and directly soliciting donations at the intermediate gift level.

Requirements

  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

Responsibilities

  • Builds and manages a portfolio of potential donors capable and inclined to give $1000 or more annually.
  • Designs and implements appropriate cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and retention activities.
  • Develops and proposes strategies for solicitation of intermediate gifts, including determining ongoing relationship with prospect/donors, recommending specific purpose and level of gift/s, identifying those to be involved in cultivation and subsequent solicitation, and ensuring solicitations are carried out.
  • Grows giving program utilizing direct mail, email and multimedia strategies combined with personal ask strategies.
  • Researches opportunities to solicit intermediate donors on an annual basis and involve them in our cause.
  • Develops a network of peers in order to gain insight into giving trends and benchmarking data.
  • Develops strong relationships with internal constituents including nursing staff, departmental management and physicians.
  • Works to communicate the power of giving.
  • Identifies a pool of current, past and lapsed donors capable and inclined to give $1000 or more annually.
  • Cultivates and solicits unrestricted support.
  • Develops intermediate giving segmentation strategies and executes in order to group donors for face-to-face or direct mail solicitation.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
