Sr. Analyst, Vendor Management Organization
About The Position
The Vendor Management Organization (VMO) Sr. Analyst is a core member of the VMO team within the Global Procurement Organization. The Vendor Management Organization provides vendor management approach and strategies from purchase requisition creation, contracting and invoice reconciliation, supplier relationship management. The Sr. Analyst role will be responsible for Contract Management including new Scope of Work reviews, Supplier Negotiation, and Contract renewals, primarily in support of the IT Organization This position requires in depth IT stakeholder engagement as well as other support functions (Legal, Procurement, Finance). The position will provide key support to the IT supplier relationship management program. Key responsibilities include: IT Contract Management support for transactions under $250k o Manage IT procurement request intake process and work with IT stakeholders to prioritize o Ensure proper legal, finance and data privacy reviews are completed o Ensure contract execution in accordance with BIIB policy o Review new Scopes of Work against existing MSA terms, and negotiate business terms, if necessary o Review and execute Contract Renewals o Execute VMO workflow management thru to Ready for Requisition o Execute supplier terminations Support IT supplier relationship management strategy in collaboration with VMO SRM lead and IT stakeholders, including: o Providing supplier performance input for periodic business reviews with key suppliers Strategic Sourcing IT Project Support (Ad Hoc) o RFP Requirements compilation o RFP Issuance o Bid Analysis o Supplier Negotiation support o MSA execution Primary responsibilities: IT Contract Management support for transactions under $250k. Manage IT VMO support intake process and ensure proper prioritization of projects. Review new SOW’s, lead supplier negotiations, ensure compliant execution and archival of contract documents, execute contract renewals, and execute suppliers terminations IT supplier relationship management support including, providing supplier performance input for periodic business reviews with key suppliers Strategic Sourcing IT Project Support o RFP Requirements compilation o RFP Issuance o Bid Analysis o Supplier Negotiation support o MSA execution
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement/vendor management
- Experience negotiating contracts
- Experience working in a matrix environment with indirect reporting structures
- Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of
