We are looking for a data driven, business savvy Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team for our Nutrition division. This role will have high ownership and visibility across the division and plays a critical part in shaping pricing strategies, unlocking growth opportunities, and driving long term profitability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business experience preferred, with experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus.
  • 1+ years related Strategic Pricing experience also a plus
  • Experience with Excel, IRI, PowerBI, Powerpoint to solve business problems
  • Strong track record in analytic or commercial sales/marketing roles, commercial acumen is key
  • Drives confidence and momentum by providing the context and data / insights for others to think, decide and act
  • Ability to transform data/insights into a compelling story with specific recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across functions; collaborating with brand/category teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders
  • Analytical thought partner who can determine which data is relevant to create actionable and measurable insights
  • Understands the impact decisions will have on commercial landscape across the Nestlé USA organization

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of SRM deployment across divisions with thorough understanding of landscape, opportunities and trends:
  • Work cross-functionally with division stakeholders, accounts and brands to identify profitable initiatives and opportunities
  • Understand the impact decisions will have on the commercial landscape
  • Support division teams to embed SRM expertise across the commercial planning process
  • Support development of Price/Promo capabilities across divisions:
  • Drive multi-lens market analyses for price and promo opportunity identification and impact estimation
  • Support identification of pricing opportunities and develop pricing scenarios with Brand/Sales to optimize pricing architecture
  • Support recommendations on price and promo per channel/customer and improvements to deliver agreed upon targets, as well as driving the SRM enablers (data, system, process and capabilities) agenda
  • Monitor pricing execution and perform robust post-promo analysis and optimization
  • Develop deep understanding of pricing (slope, curves, elasticities) and promotion (tactics, purpose, ROI, incrementality)
  • Drive promo strategy, continuously monitor post-event performance, and provide real-time actionable recommendations on marketplace intelligence, pre-event analysis, and gap closing
  • Support the definition and execution of Price-Pack Architecture (PPA) across divisions:
  • Support definition and execution of optimized Pack Price architecture (right pack at the right price in the right channel & ensuring profit expectations of both Nestlé & customer are satisfied) through fully understanding consumer, shopper & customer needs across prioritized channels
  • Continually monitor for PPA optimization opportunities
  • Support deep dive into the business, using analytics to uncover growth opportunities and refined competitive positioning, including pricing opportunities, pack size opportunities, to help Nestlé USA win in our current categories
  • Define and execute Mix & Assortment across divisions:
  • Support and drive choices about which parts of our portfolio to drive in which channels/customers to win profitable share and growth
